it seems that women prefer to be blonde. why? is dark hair sexy? girls aloud had some gorgeous brunettes what happened? why do men look at blondes. I'm starting to feel ugly lol

From a male perspective, blonde is a lovely colour on a girl, but only if it looks natural. If you take someone like that Chantelle from CBB, she looked awful.

Someone like Kirsten Dunst (my fav!) looks lovely and the idea that al blondes are dumb, is an outdated stereotypical remark that doesn't really have a place in todays society. I think blonde really brings out peoples facial features whereas brunette can make someone look quite 'shadowy' if that's a word, and their features.

They try to emulate hollywood. Don't pay attention to what others do. To have the highlights or bleach it is expensive to keep up and time consumming. I have been told that younger ppl need to keep the darker hair as you get older you will want to lighten around your face, to help you look younger. I am hanging on to my dark hair for as long as I can. A few years ago I had red highlights added. Na, I will keep the natural dark brown. I always get compliments on my hair. I couldn't imagine it with blonde.

Maybe it's because of my African upbringing but whenever I saw blonde people on TV, I usually thought they were albino's and couldn't stay too long in the sunlight etc. I have never ever thought that blondes were better looking... Instead I always felt sorry for them :-) I've lived in the West for a couple of years now and I still think brunette is more "normal". No offence intended,please.
