Nope, it doesn't matter. Looks only matter for about the first 20 minutes anyway...just long enough for that initial attraction. After that, it's all about who the person is. I've seen gorgeous people become physically ugly to me the minute they open their mouth, and I've seen people I wouldn't think were attractive, become much better looking because of their personality.

I know that sounds like i am contradicting myself but that is really my question. I am overweight from being pregnant for the past 4 years (3 kids). I am going saturday to get my hair done. It goes down just past my shoulder blades. What would be a good way o cut it so not to make my face look to fat? I don't think I really want much cut off, just a nice styl or something. I also want to get an outfit to make me look at least half way decent looking. My husband will like whatever, but I want to think Iook good. What can an overweight person wear to look good. first of all...you can trust me, ive been overweight for half of my life and adulthood. if your hair is long ask your stylist to give you some soft layers. if your hair has curl or is wavy it will look sexier. as for the outfit black is basic, safe and sexy. try a black dress with a collar, v-neck, and umpire cut to hide the hips. try longer blouses that are empire cut with a pair of leggings or jeans for amore trendy look. i strongly suggest a black dress or flowing kinda a line it should look like /_\ but should fall softly below the knees then pair it up

with a v-neck top to show some clevage. enjoy neing a hot momma. don't forget to glam up and keep your confidence to become sexy inside and out. your husband will love it!

Dont worry, you will lose the wieght with a little work.

But for now you still need to keep up your looks.

I would suggest a cut that does not go past you sholders. Something cute with a little bit of layers so that your hair wisps out.

As for the hips wear a straigh leg pant. It may be a little frustrating to find something to hid the hips but keep looking and you will find a pant you like. I naturally have wide hips so even though I am at a good wieght I still fight this issue. Please dont fall into the black rut, it is such a lie. If you are careful to buy clothes that compliment your body shape you wont have to resort to the lie of hiding behind black.

As for jewelry you should accesorize still. Do not wear tiny pendants or thin chains, this will only draw attention to how thin you arent. Wear bigget pendants on thicket strants or multi strand necklaces.

Even go so far as to put a few thick streaks in your hair.

Stick with a length that's about shoulder length, this will give a slimming look to your face. For your outfit, if you go with pants, get ones that are boot cut, flare leg or wide leg(depends on the brand). It will help draw attention away from the hips and make sure they are not real fitted or slim cut around the hips and thighs, this will make them seem to look bigger. Skirts or dresses, go for something thats not too fitted, A-line gives a look that helps to hide or slim the hip, waist and thigh area. Dont go too long on the length(not to the ankle), too short is no good either so try to go to maybe the knee or calf. Hope this helps! Remember the way you carry yourself is always imortant, if you think, act and walk confident, at any size, people will tend to not look so much at how much you weigh.

Dont be afraid to try some color either, black isn't the only color to try. Yes, some is ok though. I've struggled with my weight my whole life so I know how it feels. Try a darker color on the bottom(black) and a color on top. Try color, dont be afraid of it.
